GENERAL SERVICES
STASIS can offer many 'General Services' as an introductory tool to find out how best to proceed with a specific type of 'service.' The category of 'General Services' typically identify as: On-Site/Off-Site, Certification, Repair, Invasive Repair, Diagnostics, Other, Rental Equipment, or a combination of both. If you have questions about any piece of equipment, service, or general inquiries, this the best way to get started.
At STASIS' discretion, we may refer that some 'services' be combined with 'diagnostics' on certain products that are NOT already 'certified' by STASIS. STASIS can repair equipment, but if a machine is not 'certified' to STASIS standards or not functioning within 'manufacturer's operating specifications' after 'diagnostics.' it is possible the 'repair' will be of no benefit as there could be other problems that are unrelated to the 'service' that is being requested. Much like having a flat tire and only asking to have air added, and not checking for leaks if the tire itself is punctured and needs to be replaced. That air will only hold for so long before malfunction again. Many of these machines have relatable functions just like this, which is why STASIS insists that some 'General Services' be performed with 'diagnostics' for the best possible outcome.
Along with these 'General Services,' STASIS also offers 'diagnostics' and 'invasive repairs' to address more complex issues. Some invasive repairs, customization, and diagnostics must be performed 'off-site' because of time restrictions, immobile test equipment, and availability of parts. We are knowledgeable on many different products but due to the extreme variance of parts, function, generations, manufactures, it is impossible to keep a fully stocked inventory of every related component. Some of the 'diagnostics' requires test equipment that can not be transported and takes multiple 'testing' cycles for an accurate 'diagnosis' along with an 'estimate' of costs for the needed parts and labor. During this 'diagnostics' service, it may also be uncovered that the 'estimate' may cost more than the purchase of a new machine itself.
We ask that you contact us before requesting 'general services' to see if we can assist over the phone, order parts ahead time, or bring rental equipment if applicable. STASIS does offer 'Rental Equipment' to help supplement during repairs and downtime. Due to the complexity, critical nature, and liability associated with certain machines, it is unsafe to perform 'general services' without confirming 'certification' has been completed. Please 'CONTACT US' so we can work through the problems together and get you the right service at the right price.
Category of 'Services':
'On-Site' Services - Services that CAN be performed at the 'facility,' typically same day service, and usually relates to certification, repairs, diagnostics, rental equipment, and other services.
'Off-Site' Services - Services that CAN NOT be performed at the 'facility' and usually relates to more complex diagnostics, invasive repairs, and often requires rental equipment during downtime.
Certification - STASIS documentation of service on Anesthesia, Autoclave, or Dental Machine with Preventative Maintenance, System Functions and machine specific testing to 'PASS' regulatory requirements.
Diagnostics - An estimate of necessary services, parts, and costs to fix a breakdown (customer must approve diagnostics before repairs begin)
Repairs - A specific service on a piece of equipment that can be performed 'on-site' t per facility request NOT including a certification. (MAY need diagnostics if machine DOES NOT have Certification from STASIS.)
Invasive Repair - An invasive/complex service on a piece of equipment that can only be performed 'off-site.'
Rental Equipment - Equipment (anesthesia, autoclave, and/or dental) or components of similar quality to replace or temporaryily use
Other - A request to perform a service that is not already listed (transportation, installs, assembly, training, customization, consultation, etc.)
*Due to liability, if a machine is requested for 'general services' and it OR its components are related to 'medical equipment' that requires 'certification' and it is NOT currently 'certified' by STASIS OR requires further 'diagnostics'; AT STASIS' DISCRETION, a 'certification charge' or 'diagnostics charge' may be applied instead of the original requested 'general service charge.'
