GENERAL SERVICES
STASIS can offer many 'General Services' as an introductory tool to find out how best to proceed with a specific type of 'service.' These 'services' typically DO NOT require a 'certification' and is more advisory based off customer needs. The category of 'General Services' typically identify as: On-Site, Off-Site, Consultation, Customization, Repair, Training, Diagnostics, Other, or a combination of both. As it relates directly to equipment, 'General Services' are most commonly applied to 'stand alone' units like centrifuges, microscopes, tables/lifts, etc., where there is no recommended 'manufacturer maintenance' and services are 'intermittent.' However, some equipment may be related to components of a machine that DOES require 'certification' like Anesthesia (Scavenging, Ventilators, etc.), Autoclave, and Dental units (Handpieces, Compressor/Motors, Scalers, etc.). If you have questions about any piece of equipment, service, or general inquiries, this the best way to get started.
At STASIS' discretion, we may refer that some 'services' be combined with 'certification' on certain products that are NOT already 'certified' by STASIS. STASIS can repair equipment, but if a machine is not 'certified' to STASIS standards or not functioning within 'manufacturer's operating specifications,' It is possible the 'repair' will be of no benefit as there could be other problems that are unrelated to the 'service' that is being requested. This would be similar to having a car not 'start,' so you request a service to 'jump-start' your 'battery.' While the 'jump' may temporarily 'start' your vehicle, the next time you turn the car 'off', your car could be 'dead' again. The problem may be related to a 'dead battery,' 'loose grounding,' or a blown 'fuse,' Maybe the lights were left 'on' overnight, and the 'battery' just needed time 'recharge.' Rather than 'diagnosing' a problem, you are solving a 'symptom' and not 'testing' and 'fixing' the cause of the 'problem.' An example as it relates to equipment, would be like requesting a replacement 'vaporizer' on an anesthesia machine because your patient won't 'stay under.' While the 'vaporizer' is a component of the machine, it would be unsafe to only replace the 'vaporizer' and not validate the rest of the machine. If a dome or cannister is cracked, or a bag has a hole, but the customer believes the 'vaporizer' is faulty and only the 'vaporizer' is replaced. The 'new vaporizer' will not solve any of the customers problems of the patient not 'staying under,' it will accrue an unnecessary bill, and it will expose you to liabilities as the machine is not 'certified.' Many of these machines have relatable components just like this, which is why STASIS insists that some 'General Services' be performed with 'Certification' to better diagnose problems for the best possible outcome.
Along with these 'General Services,' STASIS also offers 'diagnostics' and 'customizations' to address more complex issues. Some invasive repairs, customization, and diagnostics must be performed 'off-site' because of time restrictions, immobile test equipment, and availability of parts. We are knowledgeable on many different products but due to the extreme variance of parts, function, and generations, it is impossible to keep a fully stocked inventory of every related component. Some of the 'diagnostics' requires test equipment that can not be transported and takes multiple 'testing' cycles for an accurate 'diagnosis' along with an 'estimate' of the needed parts. During this 'diagnostics' service, it may also be uncovered that the 'estimate' may cost more than the purchase of a new machine itself. At the customer's discretion, they can choose how to proceed with repairs while having access to 'rental equipment.' We ask that you contact us before requesting 'general services' to see if we can assist over the phone, order parts ahead time, or bring rental equipment if applicable. STASIS does offer 'Rental Equipment' to help supplement during repairs and downtime. Due to the complexity, critical nature, and liability associated with certain machines, it is unsafe to perform 'general services' without confirming 'certification' has been appropriately applied or a thorough series of 'off-site' diagnostic tests have been completed. Please 'CONTACT US' so we can work through the problems together and get you the right service at the right price.

Customization - A unique request for STASIS to develop a solution through consultation (unique products, upgrades, modifications, etc.)
Diagnostics - An estimate of necessary services, parts, and costs to fix a breakdown (customer must approve diagnostics before repairs begin)
Repairs - A service on a piece of equipment that can be performed 'on-site' or 'off-site' at respective rates (maintenance kits, testing, quick fixes, etc.)
Other - A request to perform a service that is not already listed (transportation, installs, assembly, etc.)
Training - In person coaching by STASIS on equipment and its staff procedures (setups, intermittent maintenance, service logs, etc.)
*Due to liability, if a machine is requested for 'general services' and it OR its components are related to 'medical equipment' that requires 'certification' and it is NOT currently 'certified' by STASIS OR requires 'diagnostics'; AT STASIS' DISCRETION, a 'certification charge' or 'diagnostics charge' may be applied instead of a 'general service charge' to confirm compliance, safety, and accuracy.
